Are you interested in conspiracy theories, coverups, and little grey people? If so, Roswell has you covered. Roswell is a fairly small town of about 50,000 people is the southeastern part of New Mexico. Make sure you check out The International UFO Museum and Research Center for all kinds of articles, displays, and information on UFO crash that happened back in 1947. They do charge a small entrance fee and are open from 9am to 5pm, Monday through Sunday. If you want a photo opportunity with some greys (alien mannequins), go to Alien Zone on N Main St. You have a pay a few dollars per person to get access to the back area, where you can take pictures with alien mannequins in different settings. Everything is really old and dusty, but check it out if you’re interested.
Roswell is really enthusiastic about its past and little beings from beyond. So much so that it can be a little cheesy at times, but that is what draws some people here. If you are passing through Roswell, it is a good place to stop early afternoon and check out a few of the sites and then continue on your way. If your next stop is still far away, there are plenty of hotels here if you need to spend the night. I think you would have a hard time spending more than a day here.
