Located in the southwest of Colorado in the Four Corners area, Mesa Verde National Park is truly one of a kind. Here ancestral Pueblo people made their home in the cliffs of Mesa Verde and surrounding areas. There are a few trails for hiking (depending on weather), and at the time, Cliff Palace was closed due to rock instability. There are a few overlooks along Cliff Palace Loop and Mesa Top Loop that you can see the cliff dwellings. This is another park that is perfect for star gazing at night.
