Hiking The Wave
Our opportunity to hike the Wave finally came. It was amazing. The hike was a little over 6 miles round trip. The terrain overall was not too steep or much of an elevation gain, but there was a few places where we had to climb over a couple saddles. There was also a few slippery spots with sand and steep incline/decline spots, but not too many. The Wave itself is an incredible formation that should definitely be experienced in person, if possible. The natural color was phenomenal and with a limit of 64 people a day, we did not have to worry about taking photos with people in it, for the most part. If you like hiking and being outdoors, I definitely recommend going online and applying for tickets for this hike. It may take awhile to finally get tickets, but it will be well worth it, trust me. Check out our Wave page for more pictures and info. Go to The Wave Website for more in depth information and apply for tickets at The Recreation Website. Good luck and happy hiking.
